Accommodation

The Congress venue, Sapporo Convention Center, is not connected to a hotel nearby, and the Organizing Committee recommends that the IWMC2015 participants stay around the Odori Area, which has easy access to the Congress site, the Sapporo Convention Center ( see the map ). Some other areas along the Tozai Subway Line are also convenient. Plentiful accommodations are available in Sapporo, from thrifty to luxurious, and the participants are free to choose, according to their tastes and desires.

There are three major ways to look up and choose your accommodation:

1. Use travel portal sites specializing in accommodation.

2. Booking can be made through the site here , prepared by courtesy of JTB Hokkaido Corp.
* The tariff is not necessarily discounted, but a certain number of rooms at some 20 hotels in Downtown Sapporo are held for the IWMC2015 participants until 23:59 JST (14:59 UTC and 10:59 EST) on Friday May 29, 2015, OR the rooms are booked out.

3. The Organizing Committee picked up hotels the recommended areas (see the list below). Please note that the tariffs and other conditions will vary by season and should be regarded only as references. The Organizing Committee takes no responsibility for accommodations, and participants are asked to make reservations at their discretion.

The listing is based on the following criteria:
1. A website in English is available;
2. Credit cards are accepted (in payment); and
3. The room charge includes breakfast.

Childcare

Childcare service will be provided by professional caregivers in Sapporo Convention Center during the IWMC2015 except July 26.
The service fee is partially subsidized by the Organizing Committee to encourage those with small children to participate in the Congress. The capacity of the childcare room is limited, and you need to make a reservation in advance.

• Wednesday July 29, 2015, 8：30 - 18：30
• Thursday July 30, 2015, 8：30 - 16：30
• Childcare will not be open on July 26, when public plenary is held.

3. Fee

• 1,000- JPY/child/day (including insurance fee)

4. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation requests made by the day before your first day of use: 100 % of the total fee will be refundable.
• Cancellation requests received on or after your first day of use: No refund.

5. Payment

• Please pay the total amount by cash on your first day of use at the reception desk.

6. Reservation
